These unusually loquacious sources went on to tell the Journal that the company is considering offering its MobileMe cloud storage service for free. (It currently costs $99 per year.) And Apple may use the MobileMe platform to launch a new online music service, which has reportedly been in the works for more than a year. Both Steve Jobs and an Apple spokesman declined to comment on the reports.
